- Senior Finance Business Partner to work closely with Workers Compensation senior leaders to drive the management reporting, forecasting & budgeting across the portfolio

- Hybrid working environment - 3 days in our Kent Street office
You will be responsible for driving the management reporting, forecasting and budgeting, expense management, and benefit realisation across the Workers Compensation schemes to protect and enhance the schemes financial position. Partnering with the schemes Group Executive and their leadership teams to provide strategic recommendations and expert advice.

- Provide the Group Executive and their Leadership Teams with timely and accurate management reporting, analysis and advice relating to scheme results
- Ensure that material variances and key trends against budgets are identified, understood, explained and addressed.
- Proactively identify and explain emerging trends, ensuring financial issues are understood and mitigated early.
- Understand and further develop the benefit realisation reporting.
- Provide advice on the management of FTE and expenses.
- Develop strong and productive partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance collaboration and information flow:
- Deliver strategic recommendations that are aligned with the scheme's goals.
- Foster collaboration with key internal stakeholders, including actuarial and financial accounting teams, and maintain productive external stakeholder relationships.
- Co-ordinate and deliver overall scheme reporting:
- Work closely with the GM of FP&A to plan and coordinate deliverables, incorporating inputs from the FP&A leadership team, key stakeholders, and relevant external guidelines.
- Lead the schemes forecast and budget process to ensure that the outputs are robust and accurate, ensuring alignment to scheme objectives and strategies.
- Ensure that internal and external stakeholders are updated in a timely manner on key trends, predicted future impacts, key risks and that deadlines are met.
- Complete reports to the icare Board and provide inputs into other icare Board reports, as required.
- Apply agreed controls and ensure that all reporting and ad hoc information provided reconciles with the general ledger.
- Demonstrate leadership within FP&A and finance, fostering trust, team focus, and a positive, high-performance work environment.
- Managing performance and development of team members. Additionally, coordinating finance analyst support and assignments across the Financial Performance and Analysis team as many processes are shared across multiple schemes.
- Management accounting experience, with a focus on cost & FTE management.
- Financial leadership experience.
- Relationship management skills and experience ideally at C Suite level.
- Management accounting experience within the insurance industry.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant, Certified Practising Accountant or actuarial background.
