• The successful applicants will be expected to liaise with team members and work on a range of environmental health programmes and projects relevant to the unit they are working within.
• Deliver a diverse range of activities, including the administration of 5 Acts and 26 subsidiary regulations.
• Work as a trusted regulator, community educator and capacity builder, collaborating with state and local governments and industry to protect the health and safety of the WA community.

• Relevant science degree - essential criterion for an SC1 role.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
• High attention to detail and good organisational skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
• Valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or Australian citizen, permanent resident, or visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
• Will be required to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking; may also need a working with children check and pre employment health assessment.
