Sales Manager - Food & Beverage at Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will support the hotel's Food & Beverage revenue goals through proactive sales, effective client relationship management, and close coordination with operational teams. A strong understanding of luxury hospitality standards, F&B sales strategies, and exceptional customer service delivery is required.
Responsibilities- Assist in achieving and exceeding sales targets for restaurants, bars, banquets, and catering events.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event organizers, travel partners, and local businesses.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through sales calls, client visits, and networking.
- Support in developing tailored proposals, presentations, and contracts for clients in line with hotel standards.
- Manage existing client accounts to ensure repeat and long-term business.
- Serve as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met from inquiry to event execution.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns.
- Prepare accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports, forecasts, and analyses for management review.
- Build and strengthen relationships within the local and international market to enhance brand visibility.
- Promote all Food & Beverage outlets and catering services of the hotel, highlighting unique selling points.
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of F&B sales experience in a luxury hotel environment, preferably focused on Food & Beverage.
- Strong knowledge of F&B operations, catering, and banquet sales in the luxury segment.
- Proven ability to achieve sales targets and generate business leads.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel sales systems (Opera, Delphi, or similar).
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
The hotel comprises 213 luxurious guestrooms and suites and 6 four-bedroom villas with private pools, all furnished to the highest standards in a modern Arabic style. It offers long-stay options with 161 fully-furnished serviced apartments ranging from studios to four-bedroom units. Located within the Qaryat Al Beri complex on a private beach, the hotel is close to a souk, airport, golf course, and Convention Centre.
