The RoleOur Retail Management team is recognised as a leader in delivering top-tier management to a national retail landlord with centres across Australia. You will oversee a portfolio of 25 shopping centres across Queensland and New South Wales, managing day-to-day operations, compliance, safety, and presentation standards. Working closely with your team of three direct reports, you will ensure the client's assets are well-maintained, protected, and enhanced, consistently meeting expectations for quality, service, and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Accountable for ensuring all statutory requirements and obligations across the portfolio are met.
- Provide guidance and support as necessary to help achieve the performance expectation.
- Work with the Facilities team to ensure Centres are maintained to the highest standards of presentation, repair, and cleanliness at each centre.
- First point of call for all escalations.
- Undertake regular Centre inspections.
- Maintain and develop relationships with stakeholders and tenants.
- Actively manage the professional development of all direct reports and succession planning.
- Provide coaching and support as reasonable to the wider team.
- Deliver Capex projects within budgets.
- Tertiary qualifications (degree or diploma or other property-related course, e.g. Engineering, Project Management, Construction)
- At least 5 years' work experience and demonstrated success in a role within property / building industry
- Certificate of Registration (Agent's Rep) - Essential
- Current Drivers Licence (Mandatory)
- General understanding of sustainability and NABERS
- Ability to write business cases for commercial viability / return on investment re spend on building
