Bayside Community Church is prayerfully seeking a new Pastor (preferred 5 days per week) to lead and mobilise our church community into our next season of ministry. We are hoping that this role will as early as possible in 2026.
Located in Sydney's inner-west (Concord West), Bayside is a welcoming, intergenerational, and multicultural community of people seeking to grow in faith and share the hope of Jesus. We have a heart for making disciples, nurturing spiritual growth, and engaging missionally with those around us.
We are seeking a pastor who:
- Is spiritually mature, prayerful, and deeply committed to their own discipleship and to nurturing the spiritual growth of others.
- Can encourage strong, caring relationships across all ages and cultures.
- Can lead, mobilise, and equip others for ministry.
- Values team-based ministry and is gifted in encouraging and developing leaders.
- Has a heart for mission in a diverse community.
- Will inspire and support us as we grow in loving God, loving others, and reaching out.
- Is an Accredited or Recognised minister, or candidate, with the Baptist Association of NSW and ACT (or equivalent).
The successful candidate will be someone who loves Christ and His church, and who is ready to serve God as he or she leads and partners with our congregation.
