About the department
CITS is a diverse agency that supports all Western Australians by giving them opportunities to reach their potential and live their very best lives. - Support a sustainable arts and cultural sector that facilitates social and economic wellbeing by building capacity of the sector, the provision of funding and grants, progressing infrastructure projects, providing research, policy, information and support.
- Help maintain a strong and diverse sport and recreation sector by removing barriers to participation, providing funding and support for the sector through grants, infrastructure and major capital projects.

About Office of Director General
The Office of the Director General team provides strategic portfolio coordination and communication of key strategic issues across the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport and between multiple Ministers' offices. It supports the Director General by providing confidential, efficient and effective administrative executive support.
About the role
We are seeking a highly efficient professional who is organised and an accomplished communicator to join our dynamic Ministerial team!
The Department of Creative Industries, Tourism and Sport is seeking a highly motivated Ministerial and Executive Services Coordinator to play a key role in managing Ministerial and Parliamentary requests. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to high-level government communications and ensure the smooth flow of information between the department, the Minister's office, and Parliament.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the flow of information between CITS and Ministerial offices.
- Coordinating Parliamentary questions, Parliamentary services, and Cabinet requests.
- Overseeing ministerials including Contentious Issues Briefing Notes and other urgent requests.
- Preparing Ministerial reporting for Corporate Executive and Ministerial officers.

We have one fixed-term, full time (75hrs p/f) position available for 6 months with possibility of extension and/or permanency.
