What Youll Do

• Be the face of Big Tex Gym, greeting every member and guest with energy and professionalism.
• Handle memberships, day passes, and point-of-sale transactions.
• Answer phones, emails, and questions with confidence and friendliness.
• Keep the front desk and lobby welcoming, clean, and organized.
• Support gym-hosted events like bodybuilding shows, expos, and MMA fights.
• Build connections with members and ensure their experience is always top-notch.

Requirements (Must-Have)

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication and people skills
• Basic computer knowledge (POS systems, email, scheduling)
• Reliable transportation and punctuality
• Availability for evenings and weekends
• Professional, approachable, and customer-focused attitude

Preferred (Nice-to-Have)

• Prior front desk or customer service experience
• Passion for fitness, bodybuilding, or MMA
• CPR/AED or First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Able to comfortably lift 50 lbs

Preferred qualifications:

• 18 years or older
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Own a personal vehicle
• Valid auto liability insurance
• Comfortable handling customer complaints
• Able to stand for duration of shift
