About the JobAn opportunity has arisen for a Revenue Manager to join the team in Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities include:
- Manage all room related pricing approvals, authorizations, discounts, upgrades, and restrictions across the property.
- Monitor and recommend pricing changes based on value, demand, pace, and competitive pricing; review pricing across all distribution platforms for alignment.
- Maintain transient rooms inventory to maximize revenue and availability using IDeaS, Opera, SynXis, and wholesale free sale charts.
- Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts; manage budgets by forecasting requirements, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
- Ensure all rates and offers are loaded according to company policy and brand standards, adhering to Jumeirah Pricing Guidelines across all segments.
- Ensure team members are knowledgeable about relevant processes, policies, and promotions; implement opportunities within the system to enhance hotel performance.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in a revenue management operational role, preferably from the hotel industry in the luxury sector.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma in Hotel Administration or Business Administration.
- Fully knowledgeable of Opera, SynXis, or similar CRS.
- Fully knowledgeable of IDeaS Revenue Management System.
