Division: Independent Public School - North Metropolitan Education Region
Salary: Level 4, $90,161 - $94,587 per annum (pro-rata) (DOE (SSO) CA 2024)
Position Title: Manager Corporate Services
Location: Koondoola
Work Type: Permanent - Full Time
Closing Date: 4.30pm (AWST) on Friday, 14 November 2025
Agency: Department of Education
Koondoola Primary School (PS) is located approximately 17 kilometres from the Perth CBD in the City of Wanneroo and has an enrolment of 265 students. Our school is one of the most unique educational environments in Western Australia. It brings together children from a wide range of backgrounds, languages and cultures. Add to this the on site Intensive English Centre and our close relationship with Burbridge School for children with Special Needs and it becomes clear that celebrating inclusivity is a way of life for the Koondoola school community. Over 70% of our students come from a language background other than English, making Koondoola one of the most culturally diverse schools in the state, with interpreters and dedicated teachers.
The RoleAs Manager of Corporate Services, you will ideally possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will assist when working with the leadership team, staff, parents and the wider community.
You will use sound financial management skills and strategic administration, including responsibility for ensuring all audit requirements are followed. The successful applicant should provide consistency for financial planning and budgeting within the school and possess an excellent knowledge of Department Policies and Guidelines.
You should be an experienced administrator, with clear knowledge of how the Manager of Corporate Services role impacts and is guided by the school improvement model. This includes working within the leadership team in a strategic space around the workforce planning and the targeted use of resources.
It would be advantageous to have knowledge of how Intensive English Centre (IEC) operate so the school officers can be supported. Koondoola PS has five buses bringing IEC children to the school each morning and this requires additional oversight to ensure these services are running smoothly. The school has a mixture of mainstream, special needs and ethnic education assistants, which need to be managed in response to the changing needs of the students.
Equity and DiversityWe are committed to an inclusive and culturally responsive workforce reflecting the diversity in our schools and the Western Australian community. We welcome and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, young people, people of diverse sexualities and genders, people with disability, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
