DESCRIPTION
Your responsibilities include supporting the overall daily management of operational duties, deputizing for the Operations Manager, and prioritizing safety at the delivery station. You will supervise logistics assistants, coordinators, and delivery associates to ensure shipments are delivered meeting operational KPIs.
You will be responsible for monitoring performance, coaching when needed, partnering with departments to improve processes, and communicating with delivery service providers. You will also interview candidates, brief and monitor workloads, and maintain administrative tasks.
In addition to day-to-day responsibilities, you will help train and mentor new associates, resolve process-related issues, and be flexible to work different shifts and overtime.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience managing teams
- Experience with planning, performance metrics, and process improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in logistics
- Experience with data analysis
