Re:link, Linklaters' contract lawyer platform, is seeking an experienced Project Development lawyer for a contract role supporting a Linklaters client in Abu Dhabi.
In this position, you will play a pivotal part in major projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on, drafting, and negotiating a range of project contracts, such as engineering, construction, operation and maintenance, and joint venture agreements
- Supporting project finance processes, including due diligence and liaison with lenders
- Advising on regulatory compliance and securing permissions related to projects
- Managing legal risks throughout the project lifecycle
- Collaborating with technical, commercial, and external legal teams
We welcome applications from lawyers who can demonstrate:
- At least six years' post-qualification experience in project development or infrastructure
- Experience gained within a top-tier law firm, or through equivalent in-house or secondment roles
- Legal right to work in the United Arab Emirates
- Able to start promptly
- Willing to work on site in Abu Dhabi at least three days per week (with two days working from home)
