Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Company: Dubai Euro Group
Location: Dubai, UAE
What You'll Be Doing:- You're the first line of defense when tech acts up-desktops, laptops, printers, dodgy Wi Fi, you name it.
- Plugging in new gear, updating software, and keeping the IT jungle in shape. Sometimes, you'll just be untangling cables. It happens.
- ERP users freaking out again? Lend 'em a hand if you can. If it's way over your head, just kick it up to someone who actually gets paid enough to care (nobody's looking for miracles here).
- Don't forget to babysit those backups and updates-skip 'em and you'll regret it when stuff goes sideways. Routine maintenance might be boring but trust me, it's better than chaos.
- Make a note of what blew up and how you put out the fire. Saves the next poor soul from playing detective when things get weird again.
- Chip in with the basics of IT security. No need for James Bond level stuff, just don't leave the digital doors wide open.
- Monitor system performance. If something's weird, shout about it before it becomes an actual fire.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or something similar. Or, you know, you're just really good with computers.
- Fresh grads welcome-if you've got a year under your belt, awesome. If not, show us you're hungry to learn.
- You can poke around in Microsoft SQL Server and run a basic query. No need to recode the Matrix.
- Some experience with any ERP system. Doesn't have to be SAP or Oracle, just know your way around.
- You actually understand how computers and networks work (no, "turning it off and on again" doesn't count as deep knowledge, but it's a good start).
- Curious, quick on the uptake, and not afraid to ask dumb questions (spoiler: they're usually not dumb).
- Can talk to humans as well as computers. Communication skills matter, trust us.
If you're the type who gets a weird thrill from solving tech problems and doesn't lose it when the printer jams for the third time in an hour, you'll fit right in.
