Job Description

As the HSE & QA Advisor, you'll be a key driver of health, safety, environment, and quality programs across the organisation. You'll work closely with operational leaders, local teams, and external stakeholders to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and foster a proactive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead injury management and workers' compensation processes
  • Develop and implement return-to-work plans and support recovery pathways
  • Maintain HSE and QA systems, registers, and audit schedules
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure certification compliance (ISO 14001, AS4801, ISO 45001)
  • Deliver HSE and wellness training programs and support cultural initiatives
  • Facilitate monthly HSE council meetings and contribute to strategy
  • Investigate incidents and support continuous improvement in safety practices
  • Provide guidance on technical HSE matters and quality assurance processes
  • Collaborate with rehabilitation providers, insurers, and case managers
  • Promote ethical practices, wellbeing, and employee engagement across teams
The Successful Applicant

We're seeking a confident, experienced HSE professional who can lead with influence and integrity.
You'll bring:

  • Certificate IV in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
  • Experience in HSE systems, injury management, and workers' compensation
  • Strong understanding of audit processes and compliance frameworks
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and Australian legislation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a passion for safety and wellbeing
