Process timely and accurate payroll, maintaining employee payroll records, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, managing employee benefits, and reconciling payroll data. Responsibilities also cover handling deductions, taxes, and assisting with benefits, while ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive employee information within the human resources information system (HRIS).



Human resources payroll jobs require a combination of strong technical skills, including payroll software proficiency, accounting and math skills, and advanced Excel, with essential soft skills like attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent communication to handle payroll processes, tax compliance, and employee payment issues accurately and efficiently. Confidentiality of employee information is crucial.


Technical Skills

Payroll Software: Proficiency with payroll software (Paylocity)

Accounting & Math: Strong knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, and math for accurate calculations and financial reconciliation.

Microsoft Excel: Advanced proficiency, especially with formulas, for data management and reporting.

Data Entry & Record-Keeping: Ability to enter data accurately and maintain comprehensive employee records.



Compensation details: 20-22 Hourly Wage
