Join a fantastic team and work in a great location in Cheektowaga, NY! We have an opportunity for a Temp-to-Hire role as our Part-Time HR Coordinator to work 20 hours per week. This is an on-site role that may grow into full time work down the road. This is a great opportunity for prospective candidates who are interersted in growing their HR careers.

Rate: $23 to $24 / hour

Schedule: Mondays & Wednesdays: 630 to 3PM and Fridays 7AM to 11AM.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Administers policies & procedures.
  • Assists in the Talent Acquisition process, including phone screenings, onboarding, new hire orientation and follows all Federal, Local and Company requirements.
  • Organizes, maintains and updates employee personnel files along with updating HRIS systems.
  • Assists in updating training records and files for audit purposes.
  • Supports the administration of Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefit programs.
  • Prepares reports as requested by leadership teams.
  • Assists in employee event coordination.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development preferred; or two (2+) plus years related experience and / or training in a large manufacturing organization; or equivalent combination of the two.
  • Solid working knowledge of HR processes and related manufacturing.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), HRIS, Teams and Outlook.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects the privacy of confidential/sensitive information.
  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.
  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated, polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
