- Other details: The facility which is stroke-certified is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. Seeking locum tenens coverage for a dedicated Oncology and Hematology provider from July 2025 through October 2025. The schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with call coverage required 2 3 days per week and participation in a weekend call rotation once every ten weeks. To ensure continuity of care, we are ideally looking for one physician to cover the entire assignment. Responsibilities include patient examinations for those undergoing treatment, treatment administration, supportive care planning, symptom management, patient monitoring, new patient consults for hematologic and oncologic referrals, patient communication, coordination with other healthcare professionals, hospital rounds, call coverage, and maintaining accurate medical records. The facility supports providers with access to the latest advancements in cancer treatment, clinical trials, diagnostic technologies, an on-site specialty pharmacy, psycho-social and survivorship care, genetic testing and counseling, education services, nurse navigators, and a multidisciplinary care team. Infusion services are located within steps of the clinic, and oncology nurses are specially trained and licensed in oncology education.
