Are you passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, people-focused environment? As a Health Hub Customer Service Officer at Teachers Health, you'll be the first point of contact for our members, providing exceptional support face-to-face, over the phone, and via SMS. You'll help our members access health services, process payments, manage appointments, and ensure their experience with us is seamless and welcoming.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract (maternity leave cover)
Shifts vary between 7:30AM - 6:00PM

Teachers Health was created by teachers for teachers over 70 years ago and is the only health fund exclusively for the education community. As a not-for-profit health fund, we exist for our members covering the lives of over 400,000 teachers, education staff & their families.
What will you do? / How will you help?In this role, you will:
- Provide timely reception services, including face-to-face, phone, SMS, and online appointments
- Process payments and issue invoices and receipts
- Manage member/patient enquiries in plain language
- Support members/patients with dental, allied, and optical health procedures, including emergency triage where required
- Maintain accurate appointment books, medical records, and administrative data
- Greet and check in clients on arrival, advising of any delays
- Collaborate with internal teams, including the Contact Centre, Membership, Claims and Benefits, and Health Hub teams
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 3 years of customer service experience, ideally in a multiskilled team environment
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Computer proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to manage multiple roles and priorities in a client service environment
- Understanding of medical, allied health, or dental practices is a plus
- Experience using dental software is desirable
