Front of House Staff / Customer Service Representative Looking to recruit TWO motivated and responsible Front of House Staff to join the Cane & Coconut brand. Our store operates 7 days a week; applicant must be available for the following shifts: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays from 3pm to 9:30pm OR Thursdays and Fridays from 3pm to 9:30pm, and Saturdays from 8:45am to 3pm Job Responsibilities: - Punctual for beginning of shift - Greet customers upon arrival - Engage with customers with a high level of product knowledge and professionalism - Ability to prepare store's food, drink, and produce in absence of Supervisor and Manager - Maintain the daily operation of ensuring food safety, product preparation, cleanliness standards, and security - Accurate logging of food orders in store's POS system - Perform weekly inventory and reporting figures to management; additional paperwork as assigned - Assist with special events and marketing activities - Present and maintain a clean appearance - Passion for health and wellness lifestyle is a plus! Qualifications: - ServSafe (or equivalent) Food Handler's Certification - At least 1 year of deli/prep operations experience - Secondary or equivalent education - Active Washington, DC identification card - Computer knowledge is desirable Physical: - Must be able to work any area of the store when needed, and able to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register - Position requires bending, standing, and walking for the entire workday - Must have the ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
