About People ServicesPeople Services is a dynamic and continually evolving Division that ensures the Department has the best capability to deliver on the needs of all Western Australian students. It is responsible for the provision of a range of human resource functions and workforce strategic planning.
About the DirectorateThe Organisational Design, Development and Planning directorate provides leadership, planning and implementation of key strategic human resource initiatives and projects, including equity and diversity initiatives. It also provides workforce planning and human resource data analytics, intelligence and reporting to support decision making by Department staff.
About YouThis role works across the Education system supporting a workforce of 44,000 FTE, mostly in schools. The Director Organisational Design Development and Planning leads the organisational design, organisational development, workforce planning, strategic human resource projects and human resource data analytics, intelligence and reporting functions of the Department.
We're seeking an astute, delivery focused, committed, progressive and experienced organisational design/development leader who understands how to build capability and has strong political and business acumen. You'll manage national level reform relating to workforce issues ensuring the Department and workforce are ready to deliver. As a change leader you'll lead the Departments workforce strategy and culture reporting directly to the Executive Director People Services. This role looks ahead, shapes strategy and direction, changes thinking and behaviours, and ensures the right systems are in place to deliver a thriving workforce. Leading a team of committed professionals you'll oversee to the development and implementation of the Strategic Workforce Framework and Plan and deliver workforce planning and related strategic initiatives, programs and projects that ensures a thriving workforce.
