The Role

This new role will lead the Department's Audit, Risk and TAFE Governance branch to provide high quality, innovative and timely services. The Director drives improved corporate performance through leadership of internal audit and risk management at the Department and supports the Department to meet responsibilities as system manager for the state public training system by leading and coordinating TAFE governance frameworks and activities.

What you will bring

To be successful in this role you will ideally have experience in leading audit, risk management and governance functions in a complex setting and have demonstrated leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and developing teams and managing programs or projects at a strategic level. Membership of CPA Australia, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand or the Institute of Internal Auditors is desirable.
