This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2026
At Pine View Primary School (PS), we are proud to offer an inclusive and future-focused education for students from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Since opening in 2021, Pine View has grown into a vibrant and caring community where every child is known, valued, and supported to reach their full potential. Our school model includes both a mainstream setting and a dedicated Endorsed Education Support Program, enabling us to provide tailored learning pathways and inclusive practices that honour the diverse strengths of our students.
Our VisionA vibrant learning community where students flourish academically, socially, and creatively becoming confident, capable, and compassionate individuals ready for the future.
In collaboration with the Principal and Leadership Team, the Deputy Principal - Endorsed Education Support Program (EESP) would provide educational leadership within the school and community by developing and promoting the school's vision, business plan and strategic directions. A significant responsibility of this role is to implement and maintain a collaborative, inclusive culture that promotes positive behaviour, engagement and strong relationships among students, staff, parents, caregivers and the wider community.
We are ideally seeking an applicant with a solid understanding of the Abilities Based Learning and Education WA (ABLEWA) curriculum and the capacity to lead staff in designing and implementing highly individualised programs that address diverse academic, communication, social emotional, independence and behavioural needs. They will ideally model and support evidence based practice through coaching, mentoring and performance development processes, ensuring high quality teaching and learning across all classrooms.
A key focus of this position is the leadership of behaviour support systems, including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), data analysis, and interagency collaboration. The Deputy Principal - EESP would monitor the effectiveness of individual, group and whole school systems, ensuring consistent and proactive approaches to student wellbeing and engagement. The role also includes oversight of complex enrolments, working closely with families, allied professionals and external agencies to ensure effective transition planning and appropriate placement decisions that support each student's individual needs.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills are important, with the ability to foster collaborative partnerships, guide multidisciplinary teams and engage families as active partners in their child's learning journey.
While a qualification in Education Support is not essential, it is highly regarded.
