The Technical Project Engineer is responsible for coordinating all post order engineering activities including design, development, and control of electrical systems for customer projects in the UK&I. The role is based in Dubai and will provide remote support to the UK&I Projects Team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate technical activities for power distribution projects, including low to medium voltage, UPS, and automation (EPMS, SCADA).
  • Clarify technical interfaces between customer stakeholders (consultants, construction teams) and internal stakeholders (production engineering, suppliers, software development).
  • Support application engineering teams during pre order technical engagement on a need basis.
  • Provide limited travel to suppliers, manufacturing facilities, and client offices during pre order/post order phases.
  • Represent a highly motivated Electrical Engineer with strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
What You'll Do
  • Customer Interaction and Issue Resolution: Address delivery issues, handle complaints, and support customer relationship management.
  • Administrative and logistical support: support KAMs, Business and Commercial Directors for daily support of the MEA Data Center business, compile and track sales data, and prepare sales reporting.
  • Assist in developing proposals that meet/exceed client requirements.
  • Assist KAMs to commercially respond to offer proposals.
  • Serve as a go to admin and support person for documentation and process to assist KAMs in handover to post sales service & customer support teams.
  • Learn and support KAMs on client business, commercial conditions, strategy, operations, and challenges.
  • Be highly knowledgeable on general business, structure, strategy, processes, and internal systems.
  • Advocate and communicate benefits in supporting KAMs and the wider DC team within Eaton.
  • Track account targets and current business levels within the account for forecast order intake and revenue information.
  • Collaborate effectively across departments and the EMEA team for KAM accounts.
  • Provide insight to internal stakeholders so they can execute their role and add value to the client.
  • Support KAMs and internal teams (PLM, BU Engineers, BDM, Marketing, PMO, Services, Sales Operations, Order Management, Supply Chain) to maintain a multi lane bridge between Eaton and the client.
  • Accelerate pricing approvals and ensure accuracy of order matching and tracking.
  • Build positive relations with account decision makers and influencers who impact current or future business with Eaton.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of related experience in the data center business.
  • Technical electrical and data center knowledge preferred but not essential.
