Position OverviewYou'll love what you do and take pride in delighting our guests. As a Commis Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining food quality control, preparing, cooking and presenting food adhering to food safety standards, and coordinating with the Sous Chef / Chef de Cuisine on daily preparation, food shortages and the development of seasonal food and beverage activities.
Responsibilities- Maintain food quality control, appropriate and timely food rotation, timely service and quality of food of the highest standard to ensure our guests receive nothing but the best experience.
- Prepare, cook and present food adhering to food safety standards, learning new and exciting skills along the way.
- Bring our values of Passion, Personality, Respect, Working Together and Creativity to life and continue to create our legacy.
- Coordinate with the Sous Chef / Chef de Cuisine on daily preparation, food shortages and the development of seasonal food and beverage activities.
- Stay up to date with latest culinary trends, be creative and skilled in the art of cookery.
- Thrive in a high-pressure environment whilst maintaining a high level of quality.
- Bring your unique personality and passion to the role and the team.
- Have a collaborative approach to working alongside the Sous Chef in the development and execution of new menu ideas.
- Have a talent to multitask and have efficient time-management.
- Have an excellent understanding of food, safety and hygiene.
- Have strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Have great communication skills with a strong customer service ethic.
- Be able to comfortably communicate in English.
