Commercial Estimator

Commercial Estimator Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Commercial Estimator to join our team. As a Commercial Estimator, you will be responsible for developing and managing accurate and comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects. You will work closely with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure that estimates are delivered on time and meet their expectations. Your expertise in estimating costs, managing budgets, and analyzing data will drive the success of our clients' projects.

Commercial Estimator Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage accurate and comprehensive estimates for commercial construction projects
• Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and information necessary for estimating
• Analyze data and identify trends to inform estimating decisions
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that estimates are delivered on time and meet client expectations
• Develop and maintain estimating software and tools, including estimating software, project management software, and other relevant tools
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in estimating and construction
• Prepare and present estimates to clients and stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with estimating and construction projects

Commercial EstimatorPosition Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in commercial estimating
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Estimating, or a related field
• Proven experience in developing and managing accurate and comprehensive estimates
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors
• Proficiency in estimating software, such as Estimojo, ProEstimate, or similar tools
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the workweek to client sites and project locations
