About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Commercial Cleaner to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring that the workplace is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation. This role is key to creating a safe and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out cleaning duties across office, warehouse, and communal areas.
- Clean and sanitise desks, kitchens, toilets, meeting rooms, and shared spaces.
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and polish surfaces to a high standard.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste in accordance with company procedures.
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls.
- Follow cleaning schedules and maintain accurate records when required.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to management.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety, COSHH, and hygiene standards.
- Use cleaning equipment and materials safely and responsibly.
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning (preferred but not essential).
- Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Understanding of basic health and safety practices.
- Flexible approach to working hours and duties.
