Job Summary:
The Working CNC Machinist Team Lead is a hands-on leadership role responsible for both the operation of CNC machinery and the oversight of a designated work cell within the manufacturing area. This individual actively participates in daily production while also providing leadership, guidance, and coordination for the cells team members.
The Team Lead is accountable for the performance of the cell, including employee productivity, equipment utilization, material handling, and adherence to safety, quality, and production standards. They ensure that policies, procedures, and best practices are followed, and they serve as the primary point of contact for communication between their team and management.
This role requires strong technical machining skills, a commitment to team success, and the ability to balance production responsibilities with leadership duties. A successful candidate demonstrates initiative, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered.
Special Skills: Use of hoists, hand trucks, conveyors, and lifts. Manual inspection tools, calipers, CNC tool holders, cutting tools, fixtures and other accessories used. Mathematical skills including geometry and algebra. High attention to detail. ERP system experience. Read travelers and work orders. Excellent problem solving, multi-tasking, and English communication skills, Spanish a plus.
