Orange City Council is looking for Caravan Park Officers to join the team at the Caravan Park Fortnightly Hours: 13 Hourly Rate: $30.70 - $33.46 (plus allowances and superannuation) Casual on-call positions will also be considered Casual Hourly Salary: $38.37 - $41.82

As a Caravan Park Officer you will be responsible for providing customer service to patrons of the Colour City Caravan Park and to provide support to the Colour City Caravan Park Supervisor in carrying out duties associated with the efficient management of the Park. This includes:

• Communicating with Park residents and patrons in person, via phone or by electronic means in securing bookings for a range of accommodation
• Perform financial reconciliations of daily takings in line with recorded bookings and receipting
• Daily inspections to facilitate maintenance and cleanliness of the Park and its facilities
• Offer advice to patrons of the park in order to promote Orange and the region as an attractive tourism destination, with a high level of customer service

While casual positions will also be considered, the part time roster will be: Week 1: Friday, 1pm to 6pm (5 hours) Week 2: Thursday, 3pm to 6pm (3 hours) and Friday 1pm to 6pm (5 hours) A full list of responsibilities can be found in the position description.

• Previous experience in a customer service role or the tourism / hospitality industry
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written
• Experience in administration and office duties
• Ability to work within a roster system spanning across seven days
• Ability to gain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check

The Colour City Caravan Park is a 3.5-star facility located next to the Showground in East Orange. Covering an area of more than one acre, the Caravan Park currently has 4 permanent residents, 14 overnight cabins, 45 powered van sites and sees close to 10,000 people passing through each year.
