Business Controller - Not managerial role

Job Purpose

  • Monitor and Analyze Sell-Out and Sell-In performance.
  • Lead the pricing process, ensuring accuracy and consistency of price setting across systems.
  • Manage the Closing & Reporting cycles up to Gross margin level.
  • Oversee and validate the impact of returns, rebates & trade discounts, ensuring proper controls and alignment with business objectives.
  • Conduct variance analysis of COGS vs budget, providing comments and recommendations to improve margin performance.
  • Track and report inventory levels, excess and obsolete, highlighting financial impact and risk on gross margin.
  • Organize monthly Gross Margin performance reviews.
  • Participate actively in the regional budget execution and make suggestions to improve the performance.
  • Act as a strong liaison between the Finance team and other departments.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of reporting processes as per Group deliverables.
  • Ensure implementation of dedicated reporting/controlling requirements.
  • Ensure business controls are in place to safeguard business activities and that procedures and processes are documented and conform to Group standards and rules.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects.
Essential business activities

Preferred Skills And Experience

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Controlling or Accounting
  • CPA or ACCA certification is an advantage
  • 5/6 years of experience in Finance, ideally with Finance operational experience and high business acumen
  • Communication skills and assertiveness/agility and business acumen
  • Exposure to multi-cultural environment
