Job Description :
We are seeking an Associate Cost Manager to join our Cost Management division. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the delivery of consultancy services for major commercial, residential, and hospitality construction projects in the region. The role involves managing the commercial aspects of large construction projects from both technical and contractual/cost perspectives.
The candidate should be capable of leading large teams on pre- and post-contract projects and have experience in performing cost management within a dedicated consultancy environment. Effective communication with clients, consultants, and contractors is essential. MRICS qualification is required.
Responsibilities :
- Preparing, submitting, and winning proposals
- Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to clients
- Managing complex projects independently and resolving issues
- Supporting the commercial success of the division
- Ensuring projects are delivered to high-quality standards
- Demonstrating expertise with a successful track record
- Developing procedures to improve division efficiency
- Supporting bid pricing and negotiations
- Identifying skill gaps within the team
Essential Skills :
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
- MRICS qualification is mandatory
- Knowledge of APC process and RSS qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in cost, contract, and commercial management
- Experience delivering pre- and post-contract services across various projects
- Experience managing contractual activities with clients and consultants
