Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Principal Security Consultant to join our team in Dubai. This role involves advising on and implementing advanced physical security solutions for high-profile projects across the Middle East. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in physical security, risk assessment, and security integration within the built environment, with a deep understanding of the latest security technologies, standards, and best practices.

The Principal Security Consultant should have a broad understanding of threat, vulnerability, and risk, with strengths in areas such as risk assessment, security surveys, and mitigation strategies. They should be capable of providing technical guidance to specialists and communicating effectively with non-specialists.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage physical security projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope
  2. Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate security requirements into project designs
  3. Develop comprehensive physical security plans adhering to regional regulations and international standards
  4. Design and specify security systems such as CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and perimeter security
  5. Conduct site assessments and risk analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation measures
  6. Serve as the primary client contact, providing expert advice and maintaining strong relationships
  7. Prepare and present security reports, proposals, and presentations
  8. Conduct training and workshops on security best practices and system operations
  9. Stay updated on the latest security technologies and trends
  10. Innovate and apply new security solutions to improve project outcomes
  11. Ensure security designs are scalable, sustainable, and future-proof
  12. Contribute to the development of the company's CAD library and security-related CAD/BIM methodologies
  13. Build relationships with manufacturers and assist in final scheme designs or tender preparations
Essential Skills
  • Degree or equivalent in security risk management, built environment, or related fields
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in physical security consulting within the built environment
  • Preferred certifications: CPP, PSP, CSC, or relevant security system and risk management certifications
  • Proven experience on high-profile projects including commercial, residential, and critical infrastructure
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, SketchUp, Bluebeam Revu, JVSG, VideoCAD, Hawksight SRM
