About the Role

Mirvac is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Assistant Facility Manager to support the day-to-day operations and maintenance of one of our largest and most prestigious assets. This role is pivotal in ensuring the building is presented at its best, maintained efficiently, and compliant with all statutory requirements.

You'll be part of a collaborative, high-performing team that values safety, innovation, and exceptional service delivery. Teamwork is essential, and your ability to work effectively with others will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and build strong stakeholder relationships.
  • Support risk management strategies and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Assist in the development and execution of strategic asset plans and budgets.
  • Oversee daily inspections, contractor performance, and maintenance of plant and equipment.
  • Manage work orders, invoices, and minor capital works within delegated authority.
  • Ensure high presentation standards across all areas of the asset.
  • Assist with project scopes, approvals, and documentation for operational works.
  • Monitor statutory logs, asset registers, and planners.
  • Understand and apply NABERS rating principles at the asset level.
  • Be available for on-call duties, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Act as Duty Manager when required.
  • Contribute positively to a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues to achieve collective goals.
About You
  • 2+ years' experience in facilities management, ideally with a technical or administrative background.
  • Commercial and financial acumen.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • A strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and values shared success.
