Job Description

The Procurement, Security and Property team is responsible for supporting the strategic direction of Comcare and enabling the organisation to respond effectively to current and future business needs, through strategic and effective frameworks, advice and processes. The team has the following sections: Procurement ensuring effective and compliant purchasing, Security ensuring the safety of people and assets, and Property that looks after the accommodations for all employees.

Overview of the Role

The Senior Property Advisor will supervise and conduct daily operations of property and office services functions throughout Comcare's national property portfolio. This includes nine sites across Australia, housing over 700 employees. Property team duties include supervision of repairs and maintenance activities, resolving accommodation issues, minor break fix, resolving work orders, and internal and external stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications and Experience

Desirable: Experience working within the Commonwealth Property Management Framework

Eligibility and Specific Conditions of Employment

Character clearance (Australian Criminal History Check).
Employee Health Declaration.
Six months probationary period for new engagements.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
Specific Conditions:
- Rostered after hours on call arrangements.
- Some interstate travel is required, including overnight absences.
