At Haileybury, we are leading the way in redefining education and are seeking an innovative and people focused professional to join the Finance team, based at Keysborough.

The Finance Team support the four physical Melbourne campuses (Keysborough, Berwick, Brighton and City), Haileybury Pangea and Haileybury Rendall School in Darwin.

This role is responsible for ensuring the payroll function at Haileybury is compliant with relevant Awards and staff are paid accurately and in a timely manner. The payroll function at Haileybury supports a headcount of approximately 1,500 employees. This position will be responsible for supporting effective, compliant, and efficient payroll practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing & Maintenance: Manage end-to-end fortnightly and monthly payroll processes, including onboarding, offboarding, salary adjustments, bonuses, termination payments, and compliance with Awards and Enterprise Agreements.
  • Stakeholder Support & Data Accuracy: Liaise with staff and stakeholders on payroll queries, maintain accurate and confidential payroll records, process timesheets, and ensure error-free HR and payroll data.
  • Systems, Procedures & Reporting: Contribute to system improvements, document payroll policies, and provide key payroll reporting while performing additional duties as required.
