Location: Perth, WA, AU
Wilson Security Pty Ltd is seeking a Security / Access Control Officer to support our Defence Base Security Services operations in Western Australia.
About the role:
- Location: Western Australia - multiple sites
- Full Time Opportunity
- Flexible rosters including 4/4 off, day shift only and FIFO
- Family Friendly options
- Full time Relieving Officer roles with additional allowance of up to $2500pa
- Potential earnings up to $90 000
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Physical Access Control Duties
- Providing strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors & clients
- Proactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control Systems
- Conducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risk
- Identifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectification
- Providing support to tenants and Facilities
- Managing contractors and deliveries through dock management
- Responding to emergency situations
Who we are looking for:
- Be available to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends (24/7 availability)
- 4/4 Rosters (2 days, 2 nights, 4 Off)
- Take pride in their presentation and bearing in all interactions
- Be adaptable to an ever-changing environment
- Able to write a detailed incident report
- Able to recollect critical information from an incident
- Be a lateral thinker and problem solver, resolving issues that may arise
- Understand the chain of command and correct escalation process
- Ability to provide detailed and factually accurate reports on security incidents and HSE hazards
- Have sound basic IT skills using a range of software
Minimum Requirements:
- MUST be an Australian Citizen
- Current Valid WA Security Licence
- A current and valid WA Driver's Licence
- A current First Aid Certificate
Desirable:
- ADF Veterans highly encouraged to apply
- Security Clearance's from other Commonwealth agencies are available to be transferred
