Special Education Teacher

Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Special Education Teacher with a Colorado teaching license for a full-time position supporting students with affective needs.

Responsibilities

• Work in a K-12 school setting
• Full-time schedule for the school year
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Focus on students with affective needs
• Support and instruct students with affective needs in a collaborative educational environment
• Modules may be required and are billable up to 6 hours
• License required if applicable

Requirements

• Active Colorado teaching license required at time of consideration
• Relevant experience working with students with affective or emotional needs
• Education background in special education or a related field
