Employment Information

We are looking for a licensed Psychiatrist in California to join our team remotely, offering both full-time and part-time options. You ll play a key role in providing comprehensive psychiatric services across our outpatient clinic locations, with a flexible work schedule suited to remote engagements. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting psychiatric assessments, making diagnoses, developing treatment plans, and managing medication.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead psychiatric care procedures in coordination with clinical teams.
  • Participates in clinical assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans, including prescribing medications and conducting psychiatric evaluations.
  • Collaborate with program managers to ensure adherence to clinical standards.
  • Provides psychiatric services and consultation for staff development and best practice implementation.
  • Provide support for after-hours psychiatric crises when necessary.
  • Maintains licensure, attends required training, and represents the agency at city/state meetings.

Qualifications:

  • MD from an accredited institution.
  • Current California Medical Board License.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • DEA registration to prescribe medications.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a psychiatric setting, preferably with children.
  • Valid California driver s license.
