Job DescriptionSeeking dog lovers to bring in your treasured pooch!
Bring along your friendly good-natured pet and spend time chatting with people. You'll see what a difference your furry friend can make. We ask that your pet is: calm and gentle in nature, with up-to-date vaccinations, worms and flea treatment, short blunt claws, and kept on a lead when visiting.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

RequirementsWe'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday. Visits could be weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check.
