Around 500 swimmers will attend the Victorian Open Water Championships 2025 at Eastern Beach Geelong, hosted by Swimming Victoria. This is an event for the whole swimming community, and we need volunteers like you to help it run smoothly. Volunteers will help with:
Registration: Mark swimmers' attendance and hand out timing transponders and caps.Medals: Hand gold, silver, and bronze medals to the medal presenter to give to winners and placegetters.Pack up: Help the team pack up marquees and tables.
Everyone from all levels of swimming in Victoria will pitch in on the day to make it a fun and positive experience for participants. Volunteers from within and outside the swimming community are welcome.
Suitable for CommitmentOne off - an event
TrainingThere will be a briefing on how to help with registration.
Time requiredAssistance with registration will be needed from 7am until 10:30am. If you are able to stay longer to help with the awards ceremony and packing up marquees, that would be welcome. The event will finish around 2:30pm.
