Volunteer- Lecturer & Discussion Facilitator (English or Russian)
Reporting to the Practice and Support Coordinator/Lifestyle Coordinator. This role will be based at our Residential Aged Care facility.
Responsibilities- Prepare and deliver informative and engaging lectures on a wide range of topics.
- Facilitate discussions, allowing residents to share their thoughts and insights.
- A warm, friendly and compassionate personality.
- A responsible approach to following safety guidelines.
- Promote positive and respectful relationships with residents through friendly and supportive interactions.
- Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for a variety of topics.
- Proficiency in English and/or Russian languages.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- A passion for engaging with elderly residents and fostering meaningful discussions.
- Be reliable, compassionate, and enjoy spending time with our clients.
- Commitment to regular volunteering.
- Availability: 30 minutes once a week or fortnightly.
