Title: Vocational Services Manager

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00AM 4:30PM occasional off schedule work times required

This position oversees and develops services to adults with intellectual disabilities that are seeking employment. It involves employee supervision, project development and management, job coaching, and some customer service.

Essential Functions: Gathers and prepares information for assessments and individual service plans. Prepares and maintains reports, data and documentation. Working knowledge of applicable regulations, standards, plans and practices related to developmental disability employment. Demonstrate and train vocational tasks. Assess multiple situations and problem solve. Flexible with duties, extremely organized and the ability to complete duties independently. Coordinate service delivery in accordance with self-determination principles. Ability to drive agency vehicles. Maintain expected standards in leadership, self-management, decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation and team facilitation skills. Oversight of assigned employee performance and schedules. Provide teaching, coaching, directions and corrective actions to employees. Effective communication skills. Regular and predictable attendance.





Requirements To Apply: High school diploma or equivalent, Preferred Associates degree, At least 21 years of age. Three (3) years paid related work experience in the Developmental Disability or related field, with at least one year being in vocational services. A minimum of one (1) year managing other people or equivalent. Valid Ohio Drivers License and ability to be covered by S & H insurance. Maintains appropriate certification/registration (including, but not limited to, CPR and First Aid, CESP). Satisfactory criminal background, Abuser Registry and Driving Abstract checks and pre-employment drug test. May be requested to lift, carry and move individuals in a safe manner. Be able to communicate in written and verbal form clearly and concisely. Be able to maintain accurate records and data. Computer skills using Microsoft office programs.



Compensation details: 23.5-28.5 Hourly Wage
