VIP Relationship Manager - Kraken

Kraken is a mission-focused company rooted in crypto values, accelerating the global adoption of crypto to provide financial freedom and inclusion. Our Growth team focuses on attracting and retaining clients worldwide while driving crypto adoption. As a fully remote company, we have Krakenites in 70+ countries.

The Private Client Relationship Management team supports Kraken's highest-value private clients - high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) - delivering white-glove relationship management and personalized trading enablement. We are looking for a VIP Relationship Manager to join our team remotely. The goal is to drive business growth by managing and expanding an existing network of high-net-worth clients, unlocking the full value of Kraken's product suite and identifying new opportunities to deepen engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver consistent, high-quality service to HNWI clients worldwide, building trusted relationships through exceptional account management.
  • Drive KPIs across revenue, trading volume, and assets on platform through rigorous, data-driven analysis and proactive strategy execution.
  • Bring Kraken's private client and VIP offerings to market to ensure benefits remain impactful and competitive.
  • Serve as the trusted point of contact for Kraken's top private clients, building deep relationships and trust.
  • Execute programs and initiatives that increase client activity, trading, and assets on platform.
  • Leverage blockchain analytics, trading data, and client insights to inform revenue-generating efforts and strategic decision-making.
  • Partner with product, marketing, and client service teams to champion new efforts that drive private client growth and loyalty.
Qualifications (Skills You Should HODL)
  • 5+ years of experience in relationship management, account management, or private client sales, including at least 2 years in the crypto space and a track record of working with HNWIs.
  • Deep understanding of trading product solutions (spot, margin, futures, OTC trading, lending).
  • Ability to be scrappy, bold, and unafraid to explore creative solutions to achieve results.
  • Highly data-driven, with expertise in analyzing KPIs such as client portfolio revenue, trading volume, and assets on platform.
  • Strong personal network within the crypto industry, particularly across HNWI (a plus).
  • Deep knowledge of cryptocurrency ecosystems beyond just blue-chip tokens.
  • Fully aligned with Kraken's cypherpunk values.
  • Passionate about the cryptocurrency world, with a proactive attitude toward learning new industry trends.
  • Skilled at building meaningful partnerships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels and diverse backgrounds.
  • Travel up to 10% of the time to visit clients and attend events.
  • Fluency in English and native like proficiency in one or more additional languages (French, German, Dutch, Mandarin, or Arabic).
