UGV Developer Manager

We are seeking a seasoned and visionary UGV Developer Manager to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) technologies. This role is critical to ADASI's mission of delivering cutting edge autonomous systems for defense applications. The successful candidate will oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams, drive innovation in UGV systems, and ensure seamless integration of mechanical, electrical, and software components into robust autonomous platforms.

This position will manage full cycle development of UGV platforms from concept to deployment, including system architecture design, embedded software development, sensor integration, and rigorous testing protocols.

• Lead full cycle development of UGV platforms from concept to deployment.
• Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams and allocate resources effectively.
• Oversee system architecture design, embedded software development, and sensor integration.
• Drive R&D initiatives focused on mobility systems, autonomy frameworks, and control algorithms.
• Conduct simulation, hardware in the loop (HIL), and field testing of UGV systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety, reliability, and performance standards.
• Develop system verification and validation strategies tailored to UGV environments.
• Collaborate with research institutions, industry partners, and government agencies.
• Manage intellectual property, technology transfer, and innovation pipelines.
• Maintain project timelines, budgets, and deliverables with transparency and accountability.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in UGV/USV engineering and development management.
• Proven track record in autonomous vehicle project leadership and full life cycle development.
• Deep expertise in software systems engineering, embedded software, and autonomy frameworks.
• Strong background in multidisciplinary engineering and systems integration.
• Experience in R&D, prototyping, testing, and operational deployment of unmanned platforms.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and performance metrics for unmanned systems.
