Job Description

Lets get crafting!

Do you find yourself getting into all sorts of craft projects and would like to find a way to share your skills? Come and join the Tuesday Morning craft club!

We have a huge range of resources available on site, you will engage with other craft lovers in care as you share your creativity and assist residents to create or finish their own pieces.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

The commitment is one hour per weekly/fortnightly for a minimum of 6 months. We are seeking to fill a Tuesday morning craft group between 10am-12pm.

18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare plus NDIS Worker Screening Check
