Town Planner Cardiff Remote Working Considered
Permanent Competitive Salary Plus Benefits
Ref: DB038
A well established, forward-thinking consultancy is looking to expand its Planning Team. This is a unique opportunity to work on nationally significant renewable energy and infrastructure projects across the UK within a company that genuinely values innovation, flexibility, and long-term sustainability.
Role
- Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and condition discharges
- Assist in site assessments, appraisals, and planning research
- Site identification work, including GIS analysis
- Work on renewable infrastructure schemes (solar, wind, battery storage, grid) across the UK
- Support with sustainable development strategies
Requirements
- Relevant experience in a similar planning role
- Degree in Town Planning or similar (RTPI accredited)
- Chartered or working towards MRTPI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure (Desirable)
- Full UK Driving License
