Technician - Painter

Join the Rixos Hotels Gulf team as a Technician - Painter and help maintain luxurious accommodations across our Abu Dhabi properties.

Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi is a premier waterfront resort offering world class dining, state of the art facilities, and personalized service to guests from around the globe.

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to interior and exterior surfaces, ensuring uniform coverage.
• Mix paints and stains to achieve required color consistency.
• Assist with minor maintenance and repairs of surfaces before painting.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep the work environment clean and organized.
• Maintain painting tools and equipment in good condition.
• Work closely with team members to complete tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently, ensuring timely completion of jobs as scheduled.
• Inspect completed work for quality assurance and address any imperfections.
• Follow environmentally friendly practices by minimizing paint waste and properly disposing of materials.

• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in painting is a plus.
• Previous experience in painting, especially in a commercial or hospitality setting.
• Proficiency with brushes, rollers, sprayers and knowledge of different paint types and finishes.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods.
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to painting and maintenance work.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and communication skills.
