Position OverviewThe Technical Service Advisor plays a key role in coordinating daily operations within the service center. This role focuses on handling machine intake, job order creation, system data entry, and supporting both service engineers and warehouse activities. While basic technical knowledge is an advantage, the position primarily requires strong computer skills, organizational ability, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Greet customers and receive machines brought in for service or repair.
- Record customer concerns and machine problems accurately.
- Create job orders in the system and ensure all relevant details are correctly entered.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all incoming and outgoing machines.
- Coordinate with service engineers to update work progress in the system.
- Enter part codes provided by engineers into work orders and forward them to customer service for quotation preparation.
- Support engineers with documentation, reports, and computer-based tasks.
- Handle goods receiving and verify items against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Prepare repaired machines and spare parts for delivery or dispatch.
- Manage inventory data entry, stock updates, and part picking in the system.
- Ensure accurate documentation for material movements, deliveries, and returns.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse and service area.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline (technical background preferred but not mandatory).
- 2-4 years of experience in service coordination, logistics, or warehouse administration.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical equipment is an added advantage.
- Forklift License is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent coordination and time management skills.
- Customer-oriented and proactive approach.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Based in the service center and warehouse environment.
- Regular coordination with customers, engineers, and the customer service team.
