Technical Accounting Manager, KitchenPark - Dubai

What You'll Do

• Own the technical accounting agenda, including drafting and maintaining global accounting policies, memos, and guidance notes.
• Provide technical IFRS advice on transactions (M&A, restructurings, new contracts, debt/equity issuances, joint ventures, etc.).
• Partner with auditors, legal, tax, FP&A, and senior leadership to resolve complex accounting matters.
• Lead and manage projects related to new IFRS implementations, system changes, or reporting enhancements.
• Keep business stakeholders informed of emerging accounting standards, local GCC regulations, and industry best practices.
• Represent the company in discussions with external auditors and, where relevant, contribute to comment letters or industry forums.

What We're Looking For

• 7-10 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in technical accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong exposure to IFRS standards (IFRS 9, 15, 16, 3, 10).
• Experience drafting technical accounting memos, policies, and position papers.
• A background in Big 4 accounting/advisory (Audit, Accounting Advisory Services, or Transaction Accounting) is strongly preferred.
• A professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA (or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently, perform in-depth technical research, and communicate complex issues to non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience managing regional or multi-jurisdictional entities in the GCC is a strong plus.
