Teacher Librarian - Kew Campus

The Teacher Librarian will lead and manage the School's Library as a central hub in the Junior School. The Teacher Librarian fosters a love of reading, supports inquiry and digital literacy, and collaborates with staff, students, and families to enrich learning outcomes and contribute to the school's strategic priorities.

This position is based at the Kew campus and is permanent, part-time (0.8FTE). However, there may be an opportunity to increase to full time for the right candidate.

To be successful in this position, you will have:

• Bachelor of Education (Primary) with library/information studies qualification or equivalent
• Experience in school library management and curriculum integration
• Familiarity with the Victorian Curriculum and digital learning platforms
• Passionate about literacy, inquiry, and inclusive education
• Skilled in digital technologies, critical literacy, and information management
• Collaborative and proactive in working with staff and students
• Committed to continuous improvement and innovation

A valid Victorian Institute Teaching (VIT) registration is a requirement of employment in this position.
