Bechtel is seeking a Talent Management Specialist (Part-time telework) based in Perth, supporting the west coast of Australia with a focus on onboarding, leadership development, Diversity and Inclusion (D&I), and performance management. The role reports to the APAC Talent & OD Manager and involves delivering learning solutions across the region.

Major Responsibilities:
  • Manage the delivery of a broad scope of Talent Management programs and practices to meet business and HR objectives within the assigned region or GBU, including, but not limited to, courses in D&I and Performance Management.
  • Deliver face to face onboarding programs in the Perth office for all new hires into the company (all GBUs), including the corporate orientation and a regional specific program.
  • Collaborate with the COE, Design, and Delivery teams to support design and development of Talent Management programs (e.g., onboarding, coaching and mentoring programs).
  • Liaise regularly and provide support to TM colleagues and assigned Business Partners to implement the overall TM strategy in the region.
  • Create actionable project delivery plans for colleagues and ensure consistency of programs across region(s).
  • Review program dashboards and other analytic tools to monitor the effectiveness of program delivery within assigned regions.
  • Monitor program evaluation of launched programs, including developing an evaluation strategy and coordinating with colleagues in other Talent Management groups to collect and analyze data supporting recommendations.
  • Monitor the day-to-day execution of programs and identify areas for continuous improvement for responsible delivery scope.
  • Deliver assessments, diagnostic, and continuous improvement tools to support individual or team performance (e.g., 360 debriefings).
  • Administer performance management processes and develop communication guidelines, timelines, and status updates as needed.
  • Complete ad hoc TM tasks as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, L&D or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years related experience with demonstrated increasing responsibility over time, OR 8 years of overall experience in lieu of degree.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work assignments.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivery of training programs/learning solutions using facilitation and communication skills/techniques to diverse audiences.
  • Working knowledge of matrix organizational structure.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Data analytics skills and abilities.
  • Ability to travel 10-15%.
Required Knowledge and Skills:

While not essential, we would ideally be looking for someone with:

  • Professional HR or L&D certification.
  • Proficiency in HRMS Systems tools and application (e.g. SAP, TalentWorks, and PowerBI).
  • Practitioner in at least 1 diagnostic tool (e.g. Hogan, Insights, MBTI, 360, EQ).
  • Passion for coaching.
