Job Purpose

Through continuous professional development and standardisation, you can expect to be trained and developed in the most up-to-date training methodologies to ensure you meet the standards required by Emirates.
As part of Emirates Airline's growth, we seek experienced aviation professionals for ground-based roles as Synthetic Flight Examiners (SFE). This position involves conducting pilot proficiency evaluations using Flight Simulation Training Devices (FSTDs) and overseeing ground-based assessments in accordance with GCAA regulations and Emirates' standards.
- Conduct proficiency checks, skill tests, and assessments using FSTDs, in line with GCAA regulations and Emirates' standards.
- Evaluate pilot performance during recurrent, type rating, recency, and upgrade training sessions, ensuring consistency and objectivity.
- Complete and submit accurate examination reports and assessments within prescribed timelines.
- Identify performance gaps and recommend remedial training to uphold safety and competency standards.
- Provide feedback on pilot performance trends and training effectiveness to management.
- Support training program development and departmental initiatives related to pilot evaluation.
Qualifications
- Hold or have held a CPL, MPL, or ATPL license.
- Minimum 12 months experience as an active Examiner.
- At least 1500 flight hours as a pilot on multi-pilot aircraft.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
